Will these work for me? How is the fit?
Our smarterEARS "Peri" model comes with 3 different size earplug domes (small, medium & large) for each hearing device, ensuring the perfect fit for ALL Ears. 99% of our customers say they are the perfect, snug and comfortable fit!
Do they have a whistle sound?
Any device which puts speakers and a microphone so close together has potential to produce a "whistling" sound. However, this can be completely minimized or eliminated by following these steps:
(1) Put the hearing aid in your ear prior to turning it on.
(2) Choose a slightly larger earplug that fits the entire ear.
(3) When turned on, start at the lowest volume, then slowly increase volume as needed.
Can I order from smarterEARS without a hearing test?
A hearing test is not required to order our Hearing Devices. Anyone that has hearing loss may take advantage of having the ability to order the smarterEARS hearing devices anytime.
